It is with a humble and grateful heart that I write and say thank you as the new SGA Canada director. Without faithful givers we simply could not function in a consistent manner providing much needed support to pastors/church planters, youth workers, rehab directors, camp leaders, teachers,
orphanage volunteers and church sponsored refugee assistance, to name a few of the tasks we partner with.
Every day in our office we receive reports from our team serving in the former CIS countries across a vast region of 11 time zones. Just yesterday we heard these words:
“We always preach about Jesus Christ, sin & repentance. We also invite kids to have a lunch in our home once a month. We teach kids how to cook, how to support themselves in their personal lives, how to build the family life. And, of course, we remind kids about how it is great to live with Jesus. We try to give them a pattern of family life.”
Only eternity will reveal how God has used our gifts to reach children, youth, young adults and those more senior in age through our servants. When I visit with them I do so on your behalf and remind people in each location that there are many who care immensely and they are not forgotten. Tears flow often with tremendous gratitude.
May you be blessed in your labour together with us.
