The availability of Bibles and other Christian literature is foundational to the equipping of the saints for the ministry of the church. For many years, SGA has been involved in the translation, printing, and distribution of doctrinally sound literature.
In order to facilitate spiritual growth beyond what can be provided through training efforts, SGA has long been involved in translating, producing and providing written resources in the Russian language. SGA is committed to preserving and expanding the availability of doctrinally-sound biblical literature for the Bible-preaching churches and training ministries in the Russian-speaking world.
SGA partners enable us to provide thousands of copies of Bibles, New Testaments, theological works, Bible study aids, evangelistic materials, and biblically-sound inspirational literature in the Russian-language for Bible-preaching churches, pastors, church planters, Sunday schools, Bible institutes and seminaries. Pastors, church planters, church members, and Bible school students receive the Bibles and literature that they need without cost to them. Churches distribute evangelistic literature and New Testaments as an important component of their evangelistic events.
Books we translate, print and send to the churches for distribution include several Bible commentaries by Dr. John MacArthur, theological training books by SGA’s professor of Bible, Dr. Roman Dechtiarenko, and other quality Christian titles. One of our recent projects, and now in the second printing, was the translation, printing and initial distribution of 15,000 copies of Dr. MacArthur’s Study Bible – a resource our Russian brothers and sisters were very thankful to receive. Upcoming projects include A Faith to Grow On, by John MacArthur, a children’s theology book – translated, edited, and now preparing for printing. We are praying for the resources to eventually print and disribute one million copies! The availability of Bibles and other Christian literature is foundational to the equipping of the saints for the ministry of the church.
